ECPAT France
In accordance with the mandate of ECPAT International, ECPAT France’s mission is to fight against the commercial sexual exploitation of children, i.e. child prostitution, child pornography and the trafficking of children for sexual purposes.
ECPAT France implements the following activities:
- Information and awareness-raising activities such as information campaigns, research and studies, interventions at expos and conferences
- Training such as the production of an information booklet for tourism and travel professionals, interventions in schools and companies, the creation and distribution of an educational dossier for trainers in tourism
- Assistance for children and their families: support to centres providing rehabilitation and psychological care for children who are victims of prostitution as well as organisations running information and prevention campaigns targeting children and groups at risk
- Strengthening and ensuring the application of French legislationpenalising the commercial sexual exploitation of children and monitoring the Stockholm Agenda for Action in France.
